Sourdough Saturday Bread Making

This day course is hands-on. Learn how to make flavoursome and highly nutritious sourdough bread, and how to start and maintain a sourdough starter, This class focuses on how to manage the fermentation and flavour of your doughs, and discussion on how to blend flours to create different flavours in your breads, and how to incorporate Irish grains and flours into your baking to maximise the nutritional benefits and digestibility of sourdough breads. Tips shared on how to optimise the baking conditions of your home oven. You will bring home with you a set of class notes and fresh sourdough starter and a starter kit, your homemade sourdough loaf that you have baked yourself, and the confidence to bake real bread at home.

The Fast Four Course runs for four consecutive Mondays;

Join us for a fun and fast moving course for adults to broaden their knowledge in simple and delicious weeknight dinners bursting with flavour.

This course will introduce you to cooking quick family favourites, breads, salads, soups and easy desserts. All produce made on the night is for take home - so dinner is ready in the fridge for Tuesday evening !
